FBI and Homeland Security Investigations agents have arrested civil rights attorney and activist Nekima Levy Armstrong, "who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota," Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on X Thursday.
At least two additional arrests related to the church incident were also made, according to officials.
Armstrong told ABC News that she, along with others, organized a protest at a Twin Cities Southern Baptist church on Sunday to call attention to one of its pastors, David Easterwood, serving as a local acting ICE field office director in St. Paul, Minnesota.
