A dog day cicada on a screen. The cicada is diagonal on the screen with its head toward the upper right. Its head and thorax are both black, with green markings and a green stripe separating them. Its face is very flat and the eyes are on the sides of its face. The abdomen is black with a few white marks on it. It has short orange legs. The wings are clear but there are several long, thin green stripes and a white dot on each one on the sides closer to the body.
