Yes, but unlike 1789, half the population still support Louis XVI, er, Trump. I haven't the vaguest idea why.

And when -- not if -- the economy collapses, as it will, Trump will declare everyone (but Putin) as the cause for FORCING him to bring in American-harming tariffs.
