The biggest audience growth in a month of mostly large losses, was SBS's +387k readers.

This is the first time in history* (in both current Ipsos & former Nielsen) that GdnAus has held a ranking of higher than 6th for 3 consecutive months.

*I'm 99.9% certain on that. I've gone back through to check and can't find any instances

What else? BBC News lost 453k readers but only dropped one ranking, out of the Top10 to 11th. Courier Mail had a strong month, rising 5 spots to 15 from 20th. But SkyNewsOz dropped to 19th and The Nightly dropped back out of the Top20.

For GdnAus, May was our biggest audience month *ever* in the Ipsos Iris measurement (9.38m), so while the drop is big, the 7.4m readers in June is still growth on June 2024. In fact, more Australians visited the website in June than all but four months of 2024.

I might add that I am particularly pleased to see @australia.theguardian.com's attention time (average minutes per person) up at 20mins here, which is the highest it's been since Oct/Nov last year, but would put us at 4th if you sorted the Top20 on that measure.
