Text: “Geneva just gave them to me, no questions asked.” Thea says, handing the keys to Nick. “She said not to worry about the security guards either, since the mayor told them we’re supposed to be up here.” Nick furrows his brow and grants the keys in Thea’s hand a hard stare before reaching up to take them from her. His eves never leave the keys even as they exchange hands, still thinking to himself for a solid minute before addressing Thea again; ”Well that’s concerning.” Thea nods, and Nick finally looks back at her. ”So do we keep going on the path we’re on?” He asks before holding up the keys. “Or do we figure this out first?” ”You tell me,” Thea answers. “I’ve got a clear bias, my judgment would be anything but impartial.” Nick lets out a short hum. ”Well, they’re entwined either way.” So they decide to unlock the door.
Next time on Matter of the Commonwealth: Thea Quincy and Nick Valentine sort out their priorities.
