Exactly as by subscribing to a block lists means handing over control of one's account to someone else instead of making one's own decisions. People would not hand over their BlueSky login details but they are willingly handing over control of their account to block list makers.

Unfortunately I have been added to lots of defamatory block lists by Dems including @tinamur.bsky.social who has the most disgusting block lists and many mutuals follow her but I suspect she has been told to harass me as I never interacted with her.
