Today we had no electricity or internet because our front yard tree was being cut down. I spent most of the day with Milly, enjoying each other's company. We ended up watching Buffy on her laptop, which was a lot of fun. It was nice to disconnect and just be present. However, it did make me realize how much I rely on technology. My work, my friends, everything is online. It was a good reminder to occasionally unplug and appreciate the offline moments. Now that the electricity and internet are back, I feel happier. It's good to be connected again.
