I play acoustic shows at bars and wineries in the DMV. Well, one winery. I'm that guy in the corner on the guitar singing "Wonderwall." Or whatever the drunk people want to hear WITHIN REASON. I play a lot of recognizable stuff, but I don't know a whole lot of new stuff. I think the latest songs I've learned are "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" by Taylor Swift, "The Door" by Teddy Swims, and "Levitating" by Dua Lipa. If you're ever out and a musician is playing in your bar, be kind to them. Don't yell your requests while they're in the middle of a song, and don't try to knock them off the mic. And most importantly, don't be that guy who yells "Free Bird!" in a bar. It's the most unoriginal thing, and yelling it puts you on our radar as someone to not listen to. Like, ever.
