A wealth tax on assets over £10m, could rake in £22bn yearly. Chucking that into welfare could bolster PIP, DLA, and pension credits, ease pain on the poor. Historically, it’s worked: Attlee’s 1945 government jacked up taxes and built the NHS. Could again.
