With a nod to Noir Film style of shadow and light, a black and white photograph of our short hair, black, rescue cat, Edgar, as he lies on his side, head up, eyes closed, in a bright puddle of window light, enjoying the solitude and the warmth of the sun on his face and glistening fur. Edgar fills the image from side to side, his head against one of many in a row of white wooden balusters which extend beyond the light, fading into the shadows.
