The book "War Four Christian Views" shaped my thinking as a college student. Later I asked my sons to read & discuss it as a family. MLK's philosophy of active, non-violent resistance to evil & reading Bonhoeffer's works helped put much together for me.

I think there are alternatives they can involve peaceful active nonviolent engagement with police & military that publicize unjust & immoral actions & draw further support. But it is costly and takes coordination preparation planning & persistence that might not be in play right now. #NonViolence365
