Two adult noodleflies from Rain World (one burgundy with grey eyes, the other a very dark pale purple with light red eyes) fly around eachother, looking for an opening to stab the other. While they are distracted, the Watcher, (depicted here as a black slugcat with white eyes, green star patterns that cover its back and cheeks like freckles, a lighter gradient on its lower body, and a moon-like white spot on its chest) looks over nervously, while taking advantage of the ongoing fight to eat one of the baby noodleflies without the parent noticing.

It’s very interesting to me how the adults will kill each other on sight, reminds me of a more intense version of male butterflies and hummingbirds dueling over territory!
