When education officials refer to parents as stakeholders, they reduce them to external observers rather than active participants in their child’s education.

Parents are co-educators, caregivers & advocates.

They must be treated as such. #ParentVoice #NotJustStakeholders

Parents are not stakeholders in their child's education, they are partners.

Too often, parents are treated as outsiders, expected to step up when it’s convenient but ignored when they raise concerns.
