A dark-tanned-skinned Viis male with black hair, one blue-green eye, and one red eye, is lying prone in a sniper's position somewhere in Lakeland. Jesper ended up dating the pixie-raised girl, which ultimately proved his downfall twice over - once when he investigated her story of a strange old man who proved to be a Nightkin, and again when bandits, tired of being picked off by one they called "The Ghost", kidnapped her to force his surrender. Having been given the Nightkin's blood to restore him from nearly being killed by said Nightkin, it was still in Jesper's system when he surrendered to the bandits, and they killed him, causing him to rise again as a Nightkin himself. While he saved his girlfriend then, love proved to not be enough, and he is now back to his solitary ways. He has friends and allies he can rely on, should he ever take their advice and do so.
Jesper was living the life of a traditional Viis boy in the Greatwood until sineaters killed his mentor. He spent his time hunting sineaters, wild animals, and bandits, an encounter with a pixie-raised girl drastically changed what he knew about life. More in alt text.
