Le cirrus fibratus est un nuage très haut, fin et filamenteux étiré par les vents.
Il annonce souvent l’arrivée d’un front chaud et d’un changement de temps surtout s’il se densifie en voile, mais isolé il accompagne simplement un ciel calme et stable.
