In hardware news, the ASUS NUC 15 Pro+ is indeed very fast compared to my old system. I'm liking it, mostly.

I am *not* a fan of the only fan.

This shouldn't remind me of an Itanium pre-production system, but indeed it does.

Asus launches NUC 15 Pro series mini PCs with Intel Arrow Lake If the new Asus NUC 15 Pro and NUC 15 Pro+ look familiar, that's because the physical design hasn't changed much since Asus introduced the NUC 14 Pro and Pro+ last year.
