Me posting my 6 week update on my healing from genital nullification. The swelling has diminished and the discolouration is in the position it’ll be for several more months. The mirror is filthy. I need to clean it.

#NulloUpdate Day 42 (6wks)
The last suture fell out! I got to shave! I can’t tell you how amazing it feels under my hands now. I love my body…

Also, oh my goodness the post-op swelling left me with thigh stretch marks! Normal gainers would kill for these!

The discolouration is slowly beginning its fade. The doctor says that’s going to be a “several months, not several weeks” thing.
And there is still one last suture stopping me from shaving.
But! I’m onto scar minimisation! So hopefully come autumn, it’ll look completely smooth!

Just one more suture to go before scar minimisation! It’s healing so well! And oh my goodness it feels incredible. It’s starting to feel close to how it’s gonna feel in the future. I’m going to have to wear nothing but chaps to kink events from now on!

The nerves keep waking back up and it’s so weird to feel things that I know aren’t there. My brain hasn’t swapped where it thinks the nerves that are lighting up are coming from yet.

I’m genuinely impressed with the progress!
You can actually start making out the difference between bruising and scar line now. A little more and I’ll be onto scar minimisation.

I am safely back in SoCal and so so happy. I even made it through the airport wearing my backpack without any assistance! 😁

I continue to burst into a huge grin every time I see or feel or focus on my real body
Intellectually, I knew that this would lift my mental health
I was not prepared for 2 weeks almost symptom-free.
Life… feels… good????
