A bench in the green that can only be described as a piece of abstract art - pale green metal half circle, metal benches you could only slide off, attached by metal poles to metal shade structure.

I watched Design Theory's video, The System That Punishes Beautiful Design, and he uses a bench as an example of overdesign for competing needs.

I think I found the perfect example in #NunheadGreen, #Southwark.
