Totally agree. #TheManWhoKnewTooMuch=tedious. I hv never liked Doris Day’s voice (though I ❤️ her animal activism). Jimmy Stewart is particularly annoying in his “awe shucks” & chauvinist manner to DD. “Que sera, etc”=meh. But 👍 to Herrmann’s score, parts of which are like #NxNW. #SoSueMe #TCMParty
The Ambassador East Hotel was sold and is now The Ambassador Hotel. 1301 N State Pkwy, Chicago, Heart of the Gold Coast on the North Side. The entrance looks the same but the awning is gone. Here is the bar and the rooftop dining area.
