Ed dragged Stede onto his ship desperate to get to his room.
He barely noticed the commotion behind him.
"My ship is over there," Stede managed between gasped breaths.
"This is my nest," Ed managed.
A sudden loud sound and one of the sails came crashing down on the captains.

She is a Beta which, politically, does not exist. But something is coming to change all that; a treatment so powerful it can upend the status quo for good. People are calling it the Elixir of Life. It's not long before Archie finds herself embroiled in a murder, a mystery, and a mysterious stranger that makes her lower decks wetter than an overflowing bilge-- but you know if the bilge had great stuff in it and not bilge stuff. But also kind sticky? But in a good way? Like that. Can Archie solve the mystery, solve murder, get the stranger and save the day? Or will she just be another disappearance in the small and mysterious city?
