Starzzy and Jimmingbird have opened the jewelry box's lowest drawer and are taking a look inside. There are bracelets and ring bags inside (it's all cheap, fake jewelry from when I was a kid).

Late 8/17: Travel

Summer ended last week, and Jimmingbird stayed longer than they'd planned to. The other hummingbirds have already flown south for the winter.

They accepted a sip for the road and a flower from Starzzy, and flew off.

Late 8/8: Swim

If Starzzy were to swim in real water, his suit and squeaker might be damaged, so I set up a tiny "swimming area" for him and two little friends.

Late 8/19: Flowers

It was a misty morning when Jimmingbird and I were on our way to buy mums.

We saw other birds in the store's garden area. They must've been looking for new nesting materials.

Happy with our selection, we came back and began planning on where to plant them.

I gave Starzzy and Jimmingbird what I'd hoped would be a good lunch, but there was a problem.

Starzzy had one look at the calamari salad and got upset. He ate leftover fried cheese curds instead. After stabbing them.

They have been provided with a fork and folded paper towels for any messes they make. The fruit bowl has fresh white grapes, red grapes, blackberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries, pineapple, watermelon, and honeydew melon chunks. The steak kabob has Brazilian Lime-marinated steak, onions, and sliced bell peppers in yellow, red, and green colors.

It was raining last night, so Starzzy and Jimmingbird had their date inside.

Only my sister drinks, so our alcohol variety is limited. They reasonably declined and had non-alcoholic cran-raspberry juice instead.

Starzzy and I had a lovely trip to an art museum today! Non-flash photography was allowed, so I took plenty of photos!

Starzzy joined my father and I for casual fishing today. We didn't catch anything, but my father caught a mussel. It was hilarious! He said he'd never seen or heard of anyone catching a mussel on a fishing hook before!
