I remember the moment I learned about the #OKCBombing sitting as a student in my university class. I heard this song when it was made - before the days of YouTube - and I am very glad it was archived. That day was devastating and I think was probably one of the reasons I led myself to what I do now.

In the back ground is the Journal Records Building that stood opposite the Murrah building that now houses the museum. Also illuminated is the Survivor Tree, the American Elm that also survived the blast and stands as a symbol to the resilience of the people of Oklahoma.

As we go about our day let's remember the 168 souls lost 30 years ago today in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building building in Oklahoma City. #okcbombing
