This question comes up sometimes, about the maximum level of organic material that one can tolerate in the soil. The best way to answer this is to find out for yourself with #OM246 testing. Here are my general answers.

OM246 calculator updated | Asian Turfgrass Center I’ve updated the OM246 calculator to v2 with two substantial changes. One is an entirely new tab for unit conversions between different ways of expressing sand rates. I like mm. Others use kg/ha or tons/ha.

New on the ATC website, a comprehensive update to the #OM246 calculator. Includes precise calculation of sand requirement to achieve a selected organic matter level at any rootzone depth, and conversions for topdressing rate amounts in common units.
