Two digitally illustrated headshots I drew of my original character, Oliver, as a kid (5-7 years old), and as a teen (13-15 years old). As a kid, his hair is fully blond, and his eyes are fully brown. As a teen, his hair has almost turned fully white, and his eyes have red spots. The notes written next to kid Oliver read: “Fully blond+fully brown eyes. Hair and eyes haven’t started changing yet. Still makes eye contact. Very faint dark circles.” The notes written next to teen Oliver read: “Hair still turning white (was born blond). Eyes not fully awakened. Hasn’t started keeping his eyes shut constantly yet. Avoids eye contact. Eyebags and dark circles are less prominent (compared to current).”

I’ve drawn concepts of him as a kid/teen before, however they definitely needed a remake because the old ones are not great.

This version shows him with a crescent moon earring and a nose crest.

Concept art for Frederick’s redesign. I drew it on whiteboard. While I love nose crests in character design, I’m unsure if I’ll keep it (same goes for the ear piercing) so I drew a version without.
