Here's something you cannot answer because humans are lazy: why do #spiders have "eight legs" but #octopodes have "eight arms"? Keep in mind, spiders have claws at the ends of their legs while octopodes do not. In fact, a male #octopus has a penis (ligula) at the end of his "mating arm".
