M C Wyman is easily one of my favourite artists to draw Cable. I can't explain it, but he makes Cable look formidable and masculine, perfectly capturing his gruff personality and yet, there's this gentleness he's able to convey with him too. He draws him really handsomely.

Chris Samnee is one of my favorite comic book artists, due to his work in Mark Waid's Daredevil. It's both fun and enjoyable, but also grim and mature; a great mix for this run of this character.

George Perez has drawn everyone, his #Hawkeye is my favorite Hawkeye. He gives Clint a quiet gravitas.

Erik Larsen and his VENOM got me into Comics, so I'll always take the opportunity to thank him for that! McFarlane may have been the first and Bagley redefined the Character, but ol' Eddie never looked more badass than when Larsen gave him monstrous life!

Alessandro Cappuccio and Moon Knight. He’s a character that, much like his name sake, pierces through the night. There’s also a mystic component to him that adds a tinge of horror to the character. I think, with Rachelle Rosenberg’s colors, this is his greatest look

Aquaman has had many great artists, but the definitive one for me is forever going to be the always incredible Ivan Reis.

Joe Kubert-Hawkman. From early to late in his career, Kubert defined this character's look and feel.

Say what you will about John Byrne but his art for Superman was great. Giving him a bigger physique and a more sharper face. Even the updates to the suit such as a bigger S were good. It was a good modern update to the classic look of Superman.

Daredevil had a lot of great artists, but Chris Samnee’s work is the one I think of the most
I am going with Tony Harris & Jack Knight. To me he captures the awkwardness yet coolness that Jack has.

Scott McDaniel and Nightwing. The energy he brings to a dynamic character, the curves that launched decades of cake, and no one makes the boots & gauntlets look so integrated.
Ororo Munroe, garbed in her punk inspired outfit of a mohawk hairstyle, leather jacket, tight shirt and leather pants, observes herself in the looking glass, reflecting her traditional X-Men costume and long hair! Commission by Paul Martin Smith.

Storm by Paul Martin Smith. Sure, she's always going to be Cockrum's crown jewel, but one uncanny redesign forty plus years and counting later, creators are pulling the often imitated but never duplicated look for the goddess!

When I think of Wonder Woman, I think of George Pérez. His artwork and storytelling were transformative for the character; he paid homage to the artists that came before, only to redefine the character and breathe new life into Diana as a whole.

Mark Bagley on ASM in the early 90s was what made me a lifelong fan of his work and his work on Ultimate in the 00s was peak. I especially love the bigger eyes on Spidey's mask.

I got to meet John Buscema and thank him for his fantastic comics art but mostly for his Conan. There was a Mighty Marvel Fun Book where they asked artists to draw their character while blindfolded and his ‘blind’ Conan was terrific. Wish I could find it.

Cassandra Cain. Damion Scott
I firmly believe Cass Cain’s staying power owes a debt to Scott’s cartooning. When she first came on the scene, and became Batgirl, she was a near mute with a completely featureless mask.
He made her shine anyway.
