There have been multiple requests for #SafeRoutesToSchool sidewalks here.
Instead, MCDOT added signs, cuz #OneMoreSignWillFixit.
An unmarked crosswalk with detectable warning surfaces. People who are walking or rolling on the sidewalk would use this unmarked crosswalk to cross an alley that provides garage access to two rows of attached houses with their backs to each other. Whatever the problem, it must be really bad for them to put up an actual steel and concrete bollard instead of #OneMoreSignWillFixIt.

DOTs could install left turn on green arrow only (exclusive protected left turn phasing). But then drivers would have to wait longer at the signal! So they go with #OneMoreSignWillFixIt, instead.
Yet again, a driver has crashed into the beg button pole for crossing Clopper Rd/117 on the west side of the Germantown Rd/118 intersection.
And maybe it's even true that #OneMoreSignWillFixIt - but MD SHA hasn't put up the sign yet.🤷
Maybe it needs two signs.
