In the foreground, a lab mix in a yellow life jacket stands on the bow of a blue and white paddleboard on a river. Ahead of her: a raised section of highway (where the Gardiner Expressway meets the Don Valley Parkway), and a bunch of tall condo buildings.

Biidaasige Park on Ookwemin Minising island is phenomenal. A gem in the city. Something Toronto should be proud of & quite the feat along with renaturalizing the mouth of the Don River to manage flooding. Congratulations to everyone involved with the new Port Lands! #BiidaasigePark #OokweminMinising
