There were positive updates about the progress on getting average speed cameras on Ripponden Road and 20 mph including VAS on Turf Pit Lane, Whinberry Way and surrounding streets, as well as the impact #OpVulcan is having.

Residents were pleased to see the progress of
#OpVulcan as drug runners are being driven out of
Derker.

As many of you may have seen, I met with Greater Manchester Police earlier this year on a site visit in Clarksfield to discuss the progress of #OpVulcan.

I'll be joining Greater Manchester Police at their next #DayofAction in #Clarksfield

#OpVulcan in neighbouring #Derker has already seized more than 30 vehicles. This is good news for #Higginshaw where many off-road bikes were crossing Shaw Road into the estate.
