Mainstream journalism is no longer about bringing "News" to its audience. It is now, whether media companies admit it or not, all about #OpinionEngineering, as there are *always* powerful/wealthy interests shaping news reports.

I can't speak for DMN but most don't actually do #News; what they do is #OpinionEngineering.
As soon as you notice this, stop your subscriptions and find some honest, independent media to subscribe to.

#MSM /Major Networks don't do #news, they do #OpinionEngineering. Part of that is not just doctoring & "interpreting" facts & events but simply ignoring them. There's nothing they can doctor in the #HandsOff protests that will give a positive shine to their paymasters, so silence it is. 🤷

From years of trying to analyze the rationale in specific redactions of thousands of #MSM reports I have learned that #News is not their MO. Their MO is #OpinionEngineering.
ALL of them.
It's all about molding opinion to a desired result. It's their business model.

He could have reigned them in long ago.
He could have reigned in #MSM long ago, & they have been just as irresponsible wrt mis/disinformation, but Presidents & politicians always look to benefit themselves from this #FakeNews & #OpinionEngineering.
