A depiction of Iguanodon, drawn traditionally but painted digitally. Here it has been depicted with orange and rusty brown hues on the head and neck. Reaching the body, the brown fades into a dark gray with a lighter, creamy underside of the body. The area around the shoulders and the forearm features large, robust scales. The attachment point for the arms, however, has smaller chain mail-like scales. Sparse, spikier scales run down the top of the neck and back, and the underside of the neck has large, rugose caruncles. The rest of the body past the torso is fairly uniform and featureless.
Finally finished this reconstruction of Iguanodon. Really proud of the final results. Gave it really pronounced shoulder scales with the idea that they'd help with protecting from the thumb claws in intraspecific combat.
