Dense tropical foliage at night. In the center of the image a small plant with red flowers is lit in spotlight. The leaves and flowers of the plants in the periphery are amply blurred by the lens and are illuminated in magenta and blue light.

The deep blue that makes it just to the leaf tips and around the edges justifies the use of a little boring light once in a while.

A vast cloudscape assembled from many individual photographs. The colors vary through light and darker blues as well as a touch of salmon and coral in the background sky.

From the first stage of editing, this work actually ended up being disassembled and its pieces used in a couple of other artworks in the same series.

A round pebble-like mineral sample shot in hard light. Its top is illuminated brightly and blooms with a warm glow, small flecks shining within it. The bottom half is colored with deep indigo light against an almost all black background.

This sample is pretty dull in color but that turns out to be a good thing, as it adopts the color of whatever light I use on it. Cool little planetoid
