Another #PGTip I just invented is to lean long wide things up in line with leaks to channel them in roughly the direction you want.
AND prop a cane up to divert leaks tracking along cracks in the temporary roof towards light fittings 😬
A human hand with only the middle finger extended is held up to a brass plated door handle plate attached to an open airing cupboard door (colourful clean towels seen in the blurry anterior) as a rough guide to measure the length of the plate.
Today's #PGTip is to use your own body parts as a measurement should you not have a more accurate tool to hand.
