#PMENA Opening Plenary

@bwozolek.bsky.social and Peter Appelbaum spoke about some harms caused by school math but also pointed out that many math educators trying to address the inequities are only succeeding in making themselves feel good about their efforts. It's actually reinforcing the problem.

#PMENA is about to get underway in the beautiful autumn setting of mid-Pennsylvania.
