174sp, 254 points for #PWC2017 - couldn't keep up with the east coast patchers after a decent start, but still not bad for Lancs. A few of the many highlights: @PatchBirding

Finished #pwc2017 on 140sp (2nd best since 2013) and 166 points (3rd highest). Highlights were Cattle Egret, Spoonbill and getting in on the Hawfinch action. Lowlight was the loss of breeding Turtle Doves... Dips included Med Gull and Ruff. Roll on 2018!

Almost game over for a #pwc2017 Med Gull. The first time I've missed this species at Collingham since starting PWC in 2013...

Red-breasted Goose still near Hemscott Hill this afternoon. Not sure whether to be excited as it definitely looks different to the photos of the Big Waters bird. Also 1 DB Brent and 1 Barnacle. #PWC2017

After a good couple of months of #PWC2017 I'm already 8 points ahead of what I finished on last year. Really hoping it stays like this!
