The opening night marquee at Pacific Theatres' Glendale Americana 18. Iron Man led the way with Patrick Dempsey batting cleanup. We had 18 screens but maybe 5 titles playing on opening day.

The pre-AMC Pacific Glendale lobby the night after the chandeliers were first installed. The developer (Caruso) was a believer in classic-style movie palaces, so there was a grandeur to the place that was hard to beat.

It's just another damn AMC today but when it was #new we really hoped we could put a dent in Burbank's audience. It's really too bad #PacificTheatres' corporate leadership was too inept to outlast Covid.
