The one on the left is retracted into its shell and facing away from the camera, so looks like just a tiny shell. The one on the right, in a striped shell, is emerging, showing its face and three pairs of legs. The first pair of legs has a small claw on our left and a larger claw on our right, then the second and third pair are incredibly tiny walking legs like threads of cotton, and you can see tiny eyes, and, I don't know, I guess mandibles? Maxillipeds? Crabs have far too many things that are or aren't legs, and this one is really tiny and I don't have my glasses on, some kind of face stick appendage. I'm a marine biologist you know.
