Ananas sp, pineapples. There are a lot of smaller pineapples in South America that are mostly ornamental.

Heliconia stricta, also called FireBird. This beautiful plant is rather common in South America, and sometimes used in landscaping in North America.

Palhinhaea cernua, the Staghorn Clubmoss. This is fairly common in western & mountainous areas of Colombia, and can be seen dotting the forest landscape with its spikey branches structured similarly to Antlers.

Vriesea fosteriana, you've probably seen this plant a time or two in fancy sheltered or indoor landscaping in North America.
