🤔 I've not ever heard any artists of my acquaintance express that same opinion... I need to pull this contrasting example out whenever I try to explain how #ParkJaeEon from #Nevertheless is so deeply supportive & more than it appears. 🖤 'Cause, yeah, it can easily, terribly, & crushingly go wrong. 😢

I think the thing that makes me the most sad re: this reoccurring dialogue about #ParkJaeEon in the #kdrama depiction is what kind of world is it that teaches that an honest, considerate, caring, generally nice, mindful of consent, supportive, but, yes, human & makes mistakes person is toxic.

#ParkJaeEon was judged by gossip, appearances, complex situations, & by how society expects him to be. He's deemed as one-dimensional: all bad. As @picknmix.bsky.social shared a red flag is a warning, like maybe I should think about this? Do I want to get involved with someone? It is not a person.

What you are stating about the hate he got is key to why we shouldn't label people or characters as red or green flags. A situation or action isn't representative of a person or character as a whole. #ParkJaeEon is being judged not by his honesty & the consideration he gives to his partners.

They are both assessing each other here. #ParkJaeEon states his desires/thoughts. It's #Nabi 's choice to start a more intimate relationship with him. No one forces their desires on the other.
