Got this Seymour Duncan Woody XL soundhole pickup used off eBay. On my Alvarez AP70L parlor guitar. While it doesn’t sound like a mic’ed guitar—b/c it isn’t—it’s clean & well-balanced. Looking forward to recording w/ this setup.

Mid-late nineteenth-century parlor guitar with ice cream cone heel and mustache bridge. The tuning machines are currently mounted backwards, perhaps explaining why they aren't of the reverse-gear type.

Here's a old parlor guitar. I got off eBay in 2019. It was badly painted black, needed a front job, needed the bridge remounted, and once the paint was off I French polished it over a couple months. Not sure the pictures will be in order..

Here is a 19th century parlor guitar I have been working on. The ebony nut that was on the guitar made the string spacing so narrow that it was virtually unplayable. I am fashioning a new ebony nut modeled on the older one with wider string spacing.
