Tommy Morrison’s KO Artist Son Kenzie Tells Jake Paul: Accept the Challenge
Tommy Morrison’s son, Kenzie Morrison, isn’t hiding anymore — and he wants Jake Paul, unequivocally.
The Oklahoma native recently took to social media, calling out the YouTuber and promoter again with a clear, unmistakable message:
“I’m a ranked, active son of a two-time heavyweight champion and Rocky V co-star! Everyone wants this fight! Stop ignoring me!”
Morrison Makes Statement in Bare-Knuckle Debut
It’s not just talk. Morrison backed up his confidence by making a successful transition to fighting without gloves in his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) debut. Unlike traditional pro boxing, where large padded gloves are used, BKFC rules permit striking only with a wrapped hand and no gloves, making it a more aggressive discipline focused on cuts and early stoppages.
This transition signifies Morrison is seeking the highest-risk, highest-reward path to a significant payday.
Morrison had built a respectable professional boxing career with a 22-1-2 record, including 20 knockouts, but he had struggled to land a major, high-profile fight in the squared circle. Now, the 35-year-old is determined to make his mark in the combat sports world, aiming to call out the likes of Jake Paul and Tommy Fury for a payday worthy of his pedigree.
Speaking after his BKFC debut at a sold-out Dickies Arena in Texas, Morrison said, “BKFC, I’m here. I’m here, and I’m excited about this.”
Targeting Paul and Fury: “Your Next Stepping Stone”
Morrison’s ambitions extend beyond the bare-knuckle scene and into the world of influencer boxing. His potent offense — clearly inherited from his late father, Tommy “The Duke” Morrison — makes him a serious threat to anyone in the current scene.
He doesn’t mince words regarding the spectacle fighters:
“I’m not here to call out the big guys, your Tyson Fury, your Deontay Wilder, or Anthony Joshua. Those guys have a hard enough time fighting each other. I’m not going to waste my time. But I’m the big guy to the little guys, the little guys like Tommy Fury, Jake Paul, and some of these other 10-0 fighting prospects. As far as paper goes, I’m kind of your next stepping stone.”
With Paul looking for a Gervonta Davis replacement for his next Netflix spectacle fight, Morrison represents one of the most legitimate — and dangerous — matchups either can take. Paul has been linked to a potential rematch with Nate Diaz, but Morrison’s profile, punching ability, and legacy as the son of a legend could make for a must-watch spectacle.
For now, Kenzie Morrison remains focused, patiently waiting for his chance to step into the ring — and make history in his father’s name.
