Yesterday when I Paused for Peace in town, a man walked past and shook his head (my sun protection attire was dodgy). I laughed—too loudly. It wasn’t very inclusive of me. It was a reflex. A shield. I’m not perfect. But I showed up. And I’ll keep pausing.
