Somewhat of a cool start to the ride into #Melbourne CBD via the Main Yarra Trail, but the longer I rode, the more humid it became. By the time I arrived at work I was a sweaty mess. Thankfully work has basic end of trip facilities.

Took a ride along Johnson Street, through Melbourne Uni and then onto Elizabeth Street to get into #Melbourne CBD this morning. No real reason to change, but just to see a different view of the city. Some parts had good infrastructure, but others not so much

Cool start to a comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD on the Main Yarra Trail. Looks like they are setting up for the Moomba water skiing competition on the sides of the river, so they've made some minor path changes. 😀🚲👍

Quick and comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning. Not many people out and about, either driving their cars or riding their bicycles. Was even pleased that there weren't that many people walking around in Southbank. 😀🚲👍

Comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning along the Main Yarra Trail. Weather was very pleasant. Was pleased to see a group of senior riders in front of me that let me filter through them. They looked like they were having a great time. 😀🚲👍

Cool start to ride into #Melbourne CBD via the Main Yarra Trail. After a few minutes it was very comfortable. It must be that time of year, as there was another big bunch of senior bicycle riders also making their way into the CBD. Looked fun for them.

Warm morning to ride a bicycle into #Melbourne CBD along the Main Yarra Trail. Not sure why, but it felt quiet on the roads, as there weren't that many cars encountered on the east to the trail. Passed a small group of senior riders enjoying the weather.

Comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning. Only a slight headwind breeze, the humidity wasn't too high, and there were small patches of sun poking through. The shoes still felt damp from riding home on Wednesday evening. Still better than driving.

Quick and cool ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning via Johnson Street, followed by Swanston Street. I was expecting more cars on the road, but was pleased it was not busy at all. Still some wet patches from the rain last night. 😀🚲👍

Quick ride on the roads to #Melbourne CBD. Left a little later than usual and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of people driving their cars. Some minor bottlenecks were encountered once I got to the city, but they were more of a problem for car drivers.

Started this morning with a drop off for the youngest, followed by a ride into the Capital City Trail, then onto the Main Yarra Trail into #Melbourne CBD. Weather was humid and overcast. My top was saturated, especially my back where my bag was. 😀🚲👍

Today I tried my best to keep up with a guy in Lycra (not sure if it was for comfort or racing or training) on his multi speed bicycle on the way to #Melbourne CBD. It was a tough task. He would sprint hard then take it easy on the inclines. Still fun. 🚲👍

Very comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD along the Main Yarra Trail. This time there was no long peleton of senior riders, but there were a bunch of athletic women in their training / racing Lycra getting a draft behind me. I want fast enough to pull away.

Cool start to the ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning. Temperature was ideal after a few minutes. Sun was pleasant. No headwind detected. Was passed by a big group of senior riders all dressed in a red and purple inform kit on the Main Yarra Trail.

Pleasant and comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning, this time riding via Johnson Street and then onto Swanson into the city. While it may have not been the safest route, the people driving cars at the time were respectful and kept their distance.

Was running a little later than usual this morning so I rode on the main roads into #Melbourne CBD until about 3/4 way where I hopped into the Main Yarra Trail to the office. Leaving the time I did was ok, as there weren't many cars. Still need to look out.

Much more comfortable conditions were experienced on the way to #Melbourne CBD this morning, but the humidity made the ride feel sluggish. Still better than the 45°+ heat from the ride home last night. I didn't push it to go fast, and just enjoyed the ride.

Comfortable ride into #Melbourne CBD this morning, but only just. Could feel the heat starting to rise as I made my way into the city, but overall it was a good ride. Hoping it won't be 40°+ on the way back.

Warm ride in the morning to #Melbourne CBD, and by the time I was at work I was drenched in sweat. It wasn't very hot and the sky was slightly cloudy at times, but it was humid - and that added to the amount of perspiration. 👍🚲😀

Enjoyable ride to #Melbourne CBD this boring with warm and cloudy conditions, with bits of sun poking through. The first half of the ride felt like riding into a headwind, but then the second half felt like the wind changed direction and the speed picked up.
