Outpatient antibiotics account for the majority of human antibiotic use with a third being unnecessary.

In this #peds study, #financial incentives effectively reduced #antibioticprescriptions without adverse health outcomes with sustained benefits over 4 years. #PedsIDSky

In pre RSV vax/mab years, RSV accounted for much of bronchiolitis & pneumonia — highlighting why prevention matters 💉.
