Several times, I’ve had the great pleasure of celebrating alums of the “boot camp” forerunner of The Dissertation-to-Book Workbook as they reached an important milestone: receiving and responding to two favorable peer reviews of their full book manuscript. A group of people sit around a U-shaped table in a modern, well-lit office space with large windows. They are focused on their laptops and notebooks. A woman stands at the front near a projector screen displaying the text "Hallo! Und herzlich willkommen!" indicating a greeting in German. Looking forward to a marvellous week at this year’s #summerschool. Pretty sure that I’ll learn a lot from the great speakers.

On Wed, I’ll run a session on how to do great peer reviews, prepared by Olivier Jeunen and me.
