Thanks to @manwithbooks.bsky.social and HMP Erlestoke for inviting me to hold a Life Writing workshop as part of #pennedup - I got to take in some of my favourite authors to share and hear some great stories. Thanks to all those who took part.

A final 20024 #PennedUp event at HMP Erlestoke. #TobiBamtefa was a joy to interview and his stories of playing a drugdealing gang leader on the hit show #MayorofKingstown so well he got numerous g-checks raised a lot of appreciative laughs. His openness and honesty made the event one of our best.

Running #PennedUp through the lockdown wasn't in any way easy but we had a great response from HMP Lewes.
