Bitsy is a dog who was brought to us (along with her three puppies) after someone shot her for chasing chickens. We tried from June to October to save her leg, but it didn't heal correctly and needed to be amputated. Here is Bitsy after taking part in a one-mile Veteran Suicide Awareness Run/Walk. It was her first race as a tripod dog, and she was the star of the day! Bitsy enjoys being an outdoorsy little dog. Say hi to her if you see her hiking/walking around town with her family!
