Highway 108 pickup truck crash Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of 'an impaired driver who crashed his pickup truck' on Highway 108 north of Elliot Lake, Ont., shortly before 1 a.m. on March 4, 2026. OPP said responding officers arrived to find the driver was walking on the highway in the southbound lane. The 62-year-old local man police said then proceed to flee from officers and refused to cooperate with authorities. The truck was subsequently towed and impounded.

OPP said responding officers arrived to find a small green wagon in the snow after the driver failed to navigate a corner, jumped a guardrail and crashed into the ditch.
