A night sky scene over a lake. In the foreground, near the bottom left, is a pontoon boat. The pontoon is lit from the setting moon, out of frame to the right. The lake is completely still, reflecting the stars in the sky. The core of the Milky Way rises on the right side of the image, arcing up and to the left over the boat. The sky on the horizon is hazy due to fires from wildfires in Canada.
I finally got out to do some #astrophotography this year. Heavy smoke from Canadian wildfires made the conditions less than ideal, but felt good to be back under the stars making photos.
