A photograph of a Copepod (freshwater) taken with a Canon 5DSr camera. The lens used was a Nikon U 20, 0.33 microscope objective directly attached to the camera. This objective has a diaphragm (iris) to control light input.
I bought an old Nikon Labophot microscope base off ebay. I modified it to hold my camera with an objective attached. I now have fine focus and a moveable stage. Still, imaging this little stuff is really hard. Copepod from a nearby stream. #microscope #photomicroscopy #photography #macro #nature
